In 2013 the City of Ravensburg launched the Kunstmuseum Ravensburg – the world’s first museum in a passive house design. The architects Lederer + Ragnarsdóttir + Oei (Stuttgart) paid particular attention to ecological sustainability in building the museum - and so does the museum in setting up exhibitions. "I was always keen on getting the kub2 walls, whose solid esthetics and reusability match our needs", says Dr. Nicole Fritz, the museum director.
